About
By donating a children’s book for children of color, you can foster a child’s love of reading and impact his or her life immediately and for their lifetime. Students can donate 3 new children's books to the Office of Career Development. Students who are virtual can participate by purchasing books from Amazon and sending them to the Office of Career Development (Address: Career Development, 400 Magnolia Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115) with a note from Amazon identifying who you are. Within the impact’s reflection on givepulse.com, students are required to detail their experience and the importance of reading. Honors College students are exempt from donating; however, students can assist career development with packing books in November.
